Johnny Manziel plays 'Pokemon Go' at the club during a pre-ESPYs party
Pokemon isn't just for kids anymore
Now that Johnny Manziel has given up drinking, it looks like he has found a new way to pass his time: He's playing Pokemon Go.
While some people are looking for Pokemon in their backyard or at a park or in the electronics section at a local Target, Manziel has taken his search elsewhere. The former Browns quarterback was spotted this week looking for Pokemon at a club in Los Angeles.
Specifically, Manziel was at Von Miller's ESPYs pre-party that was held at 1 OAK on Tuesday.
Although the club probably isn't the best place to practice sobriety, Manziel did manage to stay away from alcoholic drinks while he was at 1 OAK, according to the Daily Mail.
One thing that's not clear is how many Pokemon Manziel caught while he was out.
From the looks of it, he found a Pidgeotto, which means I need to get to 1 OAK ASAP, because Pidgeotto has been ducking me big time. I can't find him anywhere. Although Pidgeotto has been spotted flying around Columbia University, so maybe I'll look there first because that seems safer than the club.
Now you can spot and owl AND a Pidgeotto in Alma's robes. #PokemonGOpic.twitter.com/Kacn7cIxbF

As for Manziel, his sobriety pledge seems to be going well so far. After taking a trip to Cabo in late June, the Browns quarterback promised to go completely sober on July 1. Since then, the suspended quarterback has been keeping a relatively low profile, at least for him.
Over the past few weeks, Manziel has been hanging out with his sister a lot.
The quarterback has also been spending a lot of his time in Southern California, where he apparently rented a house.
Anyway, the former first-round pick likely won't be going to any club this week because he's on the big island in Hawaii, where he seems to determined to prove to people that he has what it takes to get back into shape.
On the other hand, he might just be looking for Pokemon.
